I originally created this piece shortly after I met my wife in 2012. After I learned that one of her favorite colors was "coral", I wanted to quickly make a large painting that featured colors in the coral family so that when she came to my house, she would be impressed and wowed. It worked, because when we got married three years later, she admitted that she married me just because I had this gorgeous painting in my house. Just kidding.
