Tandem
House paint on wood
When my wife and I were dating, I regularly insisted that anyone who knows how to do what I do with a painting can do what I do themselves; it's just taken years for me to develop the processes I employ. For one of our anniversaries, I got one large, somewhat narrow, door-sized blank stretcher, and she got a slightly smaller double-window-sized blank stretcher. I said that if she mimicked everything I did to my painting, she could create one herself just like mine. So we painted in tandem, her doing everything to her painting that I did to mine. The end result was that her painting looked much better than mine! That's this painting.
